Bring Alias Back

I am watching a rerun of Alias and I am sorry but that show ended too soon. Jennifer Ganer was great. An ass kicking beauty with brains. A rare combination on tv. Then there was Victor Garber he was phenomenal as Jack Bristow. Dude could kill without even a blink, especially when it came to protecting his daughter Sydney. Marcus Dixon (Carl Lumbly) tough and as loyal as they come. Who could forget Ron Rifkin as Arvin Sloane the best bad guy ever. (next to Jack Bristow of course.) When you add in Marshall Flinkman, Irina Derevkoe, Micheal Vaughn, Nadia Santos and Eric Weiss you got one of the best damned shows on tv.

Why did they cancel this show so soon? Why did they move it from Sunday Night? Then move it again and again and again. Who could find the show to to watch anymore? I know the pregnancy season wasn't the greatest but, seasons 2 and 3 were among the best action tv series in tv history. The fights between Lauren Reed (Melissa George) and Sydney were classic. Two hot babes one good, one evil, one blonde, one brunette, one American and one European, both had poutie lips. I am not even going to get into the battles with Francie Calfo (Merrin Dungey) and that whole black chick white chick thing.

What happened to SD6, Profit 5, the Covenant, Rambaldi??? I need spy stuff and I need it now. I need more sexy customs, and all the crazy accents. Bring back the sad eyes and poutie lips! Let's start a letter writing campaign to break back Sydney, and Alias. Where should I send the letter?

Your obession with a show ahead of its time is akin to one questioning the meaning of life. There is no one definitive answer! Jennifer Garner hung up the spy pants to be a mother. The show was well written and acted. The fights were tremendous, the plot was wondrous! All in all, ABC is to blame for the demise of the show. By jerking this show around to timeslots relegated for insomniatic geriatrics, the audience was widdled down to nothing. CURSE YOU DISNEY and ABC! May the shows that replaced Alias die a similar fate. Death to the Desperate Housewives and may Lost wonder aimlessly on the timeslots of the viewers!
